J-P is an English solicitor, qualifying at Bird & Bird in 2015 before moving into litigation funding on joining a leading third party funder in 2017. Prior to commencing a career in legal services, he served as a British Army officer for 14 years, commissioning into the Scots Guards from Sandhurst in 1999. J-P read history at Edinburgh University and is also a graduate of the UK Joint Services Command and Staff College, Shrivenham.
