Mark began his career at British Aerospace plc and then spent time working for a number of banks, including Robert Fleming & Co, where he focused on emerging market private equity and venture capital in London and Moscow.  Thereafter, he moved to Ernst & Young as a partner and remained there for twenty years (in Moscow, Hong Kong and London) before he retired as the Group CFO for the $4bn global transactions business in 2019. During his career, he has principally focused on governance, transparency and M&A. He now sits on a number of boards in the UK and is a visiting professor at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School.
